Quick and Easy Baon | Buttered Pork and Veggies

Hi Mumshies! here's one of the recipes that I always cook for our office baon. It's very simple and easy to prepare especially for those who have busy schedule like us, working moms.
I love adding dried basil in most of my dishes. It adds flavor and I love the aroma!


Achievement unlocked! My husband hates eating bell pepper. But his dish is an exception!

This dish is my husband's favorite baon. He doesn't really like eating vegetables, so I thought of adding some butter and meat, you can never go wrong with butter. And he loves it!

So here's the recipe for a quick and easy office packed lunch.

Buttered Pork and Vegies

  • 1/4 kg pork cut into cubes 
  • Black pepper, salt, spanish paprika, rosemary, dried basil 
  • 1 tablespoon butter 
  • 1 bowl of cabbage, chopped in stripes 
  • 2 cloves garlic 
  • Green / red bell pepper cut into small cubes
  • 1 small carrot cut into small cubes 


  1. Place the pork in a bowl then sprinkle with salt, black pepper, paprika and rosemary. Set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  3. Saute garlic then add the pork. Stir fry until golden brown.
  4. Add vegetables, cook until they are crisp-tender and bright.
  5. Serve the dish in a bowl then sprinkle with dried basil for added flavor.
