As a working mom, it's an everyday dilemma for me what to cook for my family. It's not easy to juggle my work, being a mom to my toddler and the household chores. Good thing that there's an easy way to cook my favorite Caldereta. So I'm sharing with you how I cook Caldereta even when I'm busy with my work.
Chunky Chicken Caldereta

Ingredients
- 250g Boneless Chicken
- 3 tbsp cooking oil
- Mama Sita's Caldereta Mix
- 2 cups of water
- 1 tbsp of garlic, crushed
- 1 pc onion, chopped
- Diced carrots and potatoes
- Bell Pepper and Green peas
- 1 cup milk (optional, for creamy version)
Instructions
- In a pan, heat oil and saute garlic, onion and tomato.
- Add chicken and stir fry until edges of meat has browned.
- Add Mama Sita's Caldereta mix and water, and let it boil.
- Add Carrots and Potatoes. Cover and simmer until the potatoes are tender.
- Add bell pepper and green peas. Cook for another 3 minutes.
- Add milk for creamy version and cook for another minute.
