Easy Chunky Chicken Caldereta Recipe

As a working mom, it's an everyday dilemma for me what to cook for my family. It's not easy to juggle my work, being a mom to my toddler and the household chores. Good thing that there's an easy way to cook my favorite Caldereta. So I'm sharing with you how I cook Caldereta even when I'm busy with my work.

Easy Caldereta Recipe

Chunky Chicken Caldereta

5 minutes 15 minutes 25 minutes

Ingredients

  • 250g Boneless Chicken
  • 3 tbsp cooking oil
  • Mama Sita's Caldereta Mix
  • 2 cups of water
  • 1 tbsp of garlic, crushed
  • 1 pc onion, chopped
  • Diced carrots and potatoes
  • Bell Pepper and Green peas
  • 1 cup milk (optional, for creamy version)

Instructions

  1. In a pan, heat oil and saute garlic, onion and tomato.
  2. Add chicken and stir fry until edges of meat has browned.
  3. Add Mama Sita's Caldereta mix and water, and let it boil.
  4. Add Carrots and Potatoes. Cover and simmer until the potatoes are tender.
  5. Add bell pepper and green peas. Cook for another 3 minutes.
  6. Add milk for creamy version and cook for another minute.
