If you are a reader of my blog, you will know that I once published an article about how healthy are the sushi bakes of Salmon HQ. With this article, I will share with you my thoughts and review some of the food that we already tried from Salmon HQ.
SUSHI BAKES
Sushi bake became a food trend during the first few months of the quarantine season. It is basically a deconstructed form of sushi roll or maki. Instead of serving it rolled, it is layered in a pan and baked in an oven. You can enjoy it by scooping a portion of it and wrapping it with roasted seaweed or nori sheet. It's very flavorful and savory! This is one of my favorite Japanese food!
Salmon HQ has 4 flavors. We got Crunchy California, Unagi, Aburi Scallops Salmon Ebi, and Soft Shell Crab. My personal favorite is the Aburi Scallops Salmon Ebi, it's a bomb! When you are a seafood lover I highly recommend this flavor. The generous serving of mixed seafood is a real deal. Softshell crab has a little kick of spicy and is also recommended for seafood lovers. Crunchy California is the original recipe of Sushi Bakes but a little bit spicy, don't worry it's tolerable!
SEAFOOD WAFU PASTA
This one is Nathan's favorite among all of our orders. It's really yummy and flavorful. It has also a generous serving of shrimp, scallops, and salmon. It's a taste of heaven for seafood and pasta lovers! It's glazed with butter so it's a plus for me because I love cooking with butter!
PREMIUM SALMON CAKE
This one is a must-try from Salmon HQ! Perfect to include on our Holiday Menu. Premium Salmon Cake is layered with fresh pieces of salmon sashimi forming a 2-tiered cake. At first, I thought that this is just a pure salmon cake. But there is a yummy surprise on the inside. The first layer is stuffed with Japanese Rice and Kani Salad

Madami na akong napanood na Korean Drama simula noong high school ako. Hindi ko na mabilang sa daliri kung ilan na ba lahat ng napanood ko. Hindi ko alam kung bakit sobrang nakakaadik, siguro dahil sa kakaibang kilig na dala ng mga bumibida sa mga drama na to. Sawa na din ako sa kwentong may magkasintahan na pilit pinaghihiwalay ng mga magulang dahil sa magkaibang estado ng buhay nila. Maaapi yung bida, mamamatay yung kontrabida, may sasabog na bus, aakalain patay yung bida, tapos magugulat ka buhay pala, yung kontrabida kahit nakaladkad na ng kung anong sasakyan na hindi ko na maalala, buhay pa din. Siguro alam niyo na kung anong drama to (kaway kaway mga 90's kid). Kaya siguro nahuhumaling ako sa mga K-drama kase karamihan sa kanila feel good stories lang. Di masyadong mabigat sa pakiramdam. Syempre meron din namang kwentong korean drama na halos katulad ng sinabi ko, pero ewan ko ba kung anong magic ang dala nila sa akin at mas gusto kong manood ng mga drama nila. O sige di ko na papatagalin pa, kwento ko na lang yung ilang mga tumatak sa isip at sa puso ko, kung hindi niyo pa napapanood medyo ma-spoil kayo sa mga sasabihin ko, you've been warned!

1. Endless Love Autumn in My Heart
Siguro nagtataka kayo kung bakit ito ang una sa listahan ko kahit sinabi ko na gusto ko ng feel good series lang. Ito kase ang unang K-drama na nagpaiyak nang todo sa akin, first episode pa lang ga-timba na ang iniluha ko dahil sa palabas na ito. Nakakadala ang iyak ni Jenny habang nagpapaalam kay Johnny huhu! oo Jenny at Johnny ko sila nakilala, hindi ko alam ang pangalan nila sa original na korean drama dahil tagalized ang napanood ko. Hindi pa uso noong araw ang magdownload ng series, wala din naman kaming internet noon. Hindi ko na binalak panoorin pa ulit yung original, yung hindi tagalized, dahil ayoko na ma-broken hearted. Kwento ito ng dalawang magkapatid, wait there's more, akala lang nila magkapatid sila kase napagpalit si Jenny sa ibang batang babae, di ba medyo pamilyar na story line? After ilang years, magkikita sila at ayun na magsisimula ang pagsubok nila sa pagmamahalan, kung kaya ng puso mo ang mga mabibigat na eksena, panoorin mo ito, kung sanay ka na madurong ang puso, panoorin mo ito!

Sinong ba naman ang hindi makakalimot sa kantang ito! Tagalized ko napanood ang full house. Tapos noong nauso na ang mga torrent ayun paulit ulit kong pinanood, madaming beses! Ito talaga ang masasabi kong feel good lang. Kwento ito ng isang celebrity na si Justine at isang simpleng writer na si Jesse. Nagsimula ang love story nila nang ibenta ng mag-asawang kaibigan ni Jesse ang bahay niya, habang siya ay nasa bakasyon. Si Justine ang nakabili ng bahay ni Jesse. Sa kagustuhan ni Jesse na mabawi ang bahay ng pamilya niya, pumayag siya sa isang marriage contract with Justine. Sobrang kilig ang naramdaman ko sa panonood nito, at napakadaming tawa. May mangilan-ngilan na eksena na nagpaiyak sa akin pero angat pa din talaga ang kilig at katatawanan. Pinakagusto ko na eksena yung nagcamping silang dalawa sa labas lang ng bahay, yung time na nagtapat na si Justine ng nararamdaman kay Jesse! Gustong-gusto ko din yung mga eksenang nagpapacute si Justine kay Jesse dahil na-fall na sya! Kung gusto mo lang na makilig ng sobra sobra, I highly recommend this drama!
3. Princess Hours
"Pag-ibig na kaya! Pareho ang nadarama, ito ba ang simula". Napakanta ka din ba kila Rachel Ann Go at Christian Bautista? Sila ang kumanta ng tagalized OST ng Princess Hours! Naalala ko bumili pa ng DVD yung kapatid ko para mapanood lang yung original. Ilang beses ko din itong pinanood. Sino pa ang nakakaalala kay Crown Prince Gian at Janelle? Oo, tama, tagalized ko na naman ito napanood noong araw. Kwento ito ng isang Prinsipe at isang normal na high school student na ipinagkasundo ng kanilang mga Lolo. Ang isa sa mga nagustuhan ko dito ay kung paano mamumuhay ang isang napaka-jolly na commoner, bilang isang Prinsesa. Pakiramdam ko nagkaron ng buhay ang palasyo nang manirahan si Janelle dito. Si Prince Gian naman, in love sya sa kanyang kababata na dumating sa punto na inaya na niya itong magpakasal. Pero dahil sa pangarap ng babaeng iyon (sorry nakalimutan ko na ang pangalan haha), tumangging magpakasal ito sa kanya. Pero nagpatuloy ang connection nilang dalawa sa kabila ng pagpapakasal ni Prince Gian kay Janelle, unang na-in love si Janelle kay Prince Gian. Syempre bida sila kaya na-in love din naman si Prince Gian kay Janelle. Hahaha! Sinabi ko naman na hindi ako masyadong magaling magreview ng mga palabas. Pero classic sa kilig din tong si Prince Gian at Janelle eh. Panoorin niyo to, after neto yung Kingdom naman! Crown Prince din si Gian dito!
4. Boys Over Flowers
Syempre hindi mawawala sa listahan itong Korean drama na to. Korean adaptation ng Meteor Garden! Naalala ko yung Meteor Garden kapag nakakatulog ako sa hapon at hindi ako ginising ng nanay ko tapos di ko napanood, iiyak ako talaga! Kaya di ko din ito pinalampas noong nalaman ko na magkakaron ng adaptation. Hindi na naman ako binigo ng mga Koreano! Pinakilig na naman nila ako ng bongga! Kahit kapatid ko in-love na in-love kay Lee Min Ho. Pero ako, hindi si Lee Min Ho ang pinapanood ko dito kundi si Ji Hoo! Minsan mas malapit talaga sa puso ko yung mga ka-love triangle ng mga bida eh, kase bukod sa gwapo sila, nakakaawa kapag hindi sila yung pinili huhu!
5. Crash Landing On You
Hindi rin naman mawawala sa listahan itong si Hyun Bin! Ang laki ng pinagbago niya from Kim Sam Soon at Secret Garden. Sobra akong naintriga sa North Korea dahil sa palabas na to. Kung hindi ba talaga uso ang rice cooker sa kanila! Balak kong magbasa basa about sa North Korea di ko pa lang nauumpisahan haha! Noong mga unang eksena di pa ako ginanahan pero noong tinangay na si Yoon Se-ri ng tornado papunta sa North Korea doon na talaga ako napatutok ng husto! Maiiba ang pananaw mo sa mga sundalo sa North Korea! Mapapamahal ka sa mga characters lalo na sa mga sundalo at mga North Korean woman na naging kaibigan ni Se-rin, nagbigay kulay lahat ng mga characters sa palabas. Nagustuhan ko din yung characters nila Seo Dan at Gu Seung-jun. Sana bumida sila sa sarili nilang drama. Kinilig din kase ako sa kanila, may chemistry!
6. Itaewon Class
Ito ang pinakapaborito ko so far. Napakadaming bagay at aral na matutunan. Lahat na ata sakop ng palabas na to. Love, business, relationship to co-workers, being a good leader, gender diversity at racism. I love how Park Saeroyi handles his relationship with his subordinates, oh di ba napa-English na ako, medyo nakarelate din kase ako sa office. At noong natackle na yung topic ng gender diversity, about sa pagiging transwoman ni Hyun-yi, ang nasabi ko, "ay favorite ko na to". At noong nagkaron ng issue ng racism about kay Toni, ang nasabi ko naman, ay mas gusto ko na ito kaysa sa CLOY (opinyon ko lang naman ito haha). Isang bagay lang ang ikinalungkot ko sa palabas na to, si Oh Soo-ah. 15 years na meron silang pagtingin sa isa't isa pero nauwi sa wala. Sobrang sakit na ipinangako ni Saeroyi na gagawin niya ang lahat para mag-quit si Oh Soo-ah sa Jangga Group, pero bandang huli, na-in love din sya sa iba. Well, ipinakita lang din dito ang reality ng buhay at pag-ibig, na hindi dahil first love mo sya, ay kayo na hanggang sa huli. Pero ok na din ako sa ending ni Oh Soo-ah, ang gwapo kaya ni Park Bo-gum! Panoorin niyo nang malaman niyo kung bakit HAHA!
Ang dami ko pang nasa isip na mga K-Drama pero eto talaga ang tumatak sa isip ko. Kapag nagkaroon ako ng mas madaming oras, gagawa pa ako ng mas maayos na review tungkol sa mga nagustuhan ko na K-Drama, or kung nagbago na ang pinakapaborito ko.
